iPhone 11 and iPhone 11 Pro Use Intel’s LTE Modem

It looks like despite reaching a settlement with Qualcomm, Apple has continued to use Intel modem inside the iPhone 11 and iPhone 11 Pro this year. That’s surprising since the iPhone 11 features a faster Gigabit LTE modem than last year’s iPhone XS and many expected it was supplied by Qualcomm.

However, as per PCMag, Apple is likely using Intel’s XM 7660 modem — the company’s final 4G modem before it shut down and sold its modem business to Apple for $1 billion. Also Read:Welltorrent Proxy List

Based on the spec sheet of the modem, the iPhone 11 Pro should offer around 20% faster LTE speeds than the iPhone XS from last year. The iPhone 11 also comes with the same modem but its performance and network reception won’t be as good because it has 2×2 MIMO antennas and not 4×4 MIMO like the iPhone 11 Pro.

Data collected by SpeedSmart signals a 13% improvement in LTE speeds on the iPhone 11 Pro in the United States across all major carriers.

It is unclear if Apple is using Intel’s modem in all the iPhone 11 and iPhone 11 Pro variants or if it is limited to the U.S. variant tested by PCMag.

Apple and Qualcomm reached a settlement in April this year. By the time these two companies settled their matter, the iPhone 11 and iPhone 11 Pro components were probably already finalized and it was not possible for Apple to make a major modem swap at the last minute.

Apple will use Qualcomm’s modem for its 2020 iPhones which are expected to feature 5G connectivity. The companies have signed a six-year license agreement and a two-year chipset supply agreement.

Apple HomePod Accounts for Just 5 Percent of Smart Speaker Sales in the U.S

Apple’s HomePod seems to be lagging behind when it comes to market share in the U.S. Consumer Intelligence Research Partners has published a new report that says HomePod accounted for only 5 percent out of 76 million smart speakers sold in the United States in Q2 2019.

As expected Amazon continues to tops the leaderboard with Echo devices accounting for 70 percent of smart speakers sold in the United States in Q2 2019. Meanwhile, Google Home devices accounted for 25 percent of the sales during the same time period. The smart speaker segment has witnessed a remarkable growth of nine percent.

Needless to say, HomePod is not selling anywhere as much as Google Home or Amazon Echo. As per the report, people like buying affordable smart speakers like Amazon Echo Dot and Google Home Mini as opposed to the expensive HomePod. Perhaps it is time for Apple to offer a more affordable alternative to HomePod. Despite the revised price, Apple HomePod is still selling at $299 which is considerably more as opposed to Echo or Google Home Mini. The report is concluded after surveying 500 U.S users who own Amazon Echo, Google Home, and Apple HomePod.
Our Take

Apple’s HomePod is positioned as a premium smart speaker. The market trends show that people prefer entry-level smart speakers like the Echo Dot. Even the expensive Google Home Max suffered a similar fate as HomePod. That apart, the HomePod was restricted to select regions in the beginning and needs an Apple device to pair. Moreover it didn’t support Bluetooth and initially, it was linked to only one Apple ID.

2019 iPhone Photography Award Winners Announced

The winners of the 12th annual iPhone Photography Awards were unveiled today.

This year's recipients were selected from thousands of entries from over 140 countries around the world, including Australia, Bahrain, Belarus, Brazil, Canada, China, France, Germany, India, Italy, Japan, Peru, Portugal, Russia, South Africa, Taiwan, the United Kingdom, and the United States.

"Big Sister" shot on an iPhone X by Gabriella Cigliano of Italy

The grand prize winner is Gabriella Cigliano of Italy for her entry "Big Sister," shot on an iPhone X in Zanzibar, Africa:
Last year I spent a month in Wasa, Tanzania, teaching a class of young, curious and amazing guys. Before heading back to Italy we stopped in Zanzibar, where this photo was taken. I still wonder how could I capture that exact moment in all its beauty. I was just observing, a few meters from them, but they were probably more curious about me than I was about them, and that's probably why the girl was looking at me. We couldn't talk much, except for a few words in Swahili I had learned in the previous weeks, but those kids could definitely talk with their eyes. It was one of the most beautiful things I've seen in my life, and I'll keep it in my memories forever. The best part was showing them and their mums the photos, for some it was the first time they were seeing their faces, and their excitement was unexplainable, unfortunately my iPhone was in their hands and I couldn't capture that!

Powerbeats Pro Truly Wireless Headphones Getting Advertised Before an Actual Announcement

There have been rumors that the Apple-owned Beats brand is working on a pair of truly wireless Powerbeats Pro headphones, and now there’s even a giant billboard in Los Angeles advertising the unannounced headphones.

Back in March, there was a report that outlined Beats working on a pair of truly wireless headphones under the Powerbeats branding. They would be called the Powerbeats Pro, and it did not take long before we saw our first official image of the incoming headphones thanks to the release of iOS 12.2. But, while the Powerbeats Pro seem to be all but confirmed at this point, Apple hasn’t actually announced or launched them just yet.

But that isn’t stopping the company from advertising them anyway. As was first reported on Wednesday by 9to5Mac, Apple has put up a giant banner in Los Angeles, California, on the cross streets of Vine and Sunset. It’s ridiculously tall and shows off the Powerbeats Pro name. Whether or not the image itself actually gets across that the headphones are truly wireless is up for debate, but at least there’s additional text that reads “totally wireless” at the bottom.

There are actually two ads, though, with a landscape billboard advertising the same Powerbeats Pro headphones just off to the left as well, which you can see in the image above. Apparently the ads say the new headphones are “coming soon”, but there aren’t any official dates present. The last rumor suggested the Powerbeats Pro headphones would launch sometime in April, so we may not have long to wait.
Our Take

Despite the fact that Apple just launched the second-generation AirPods, the truly wireless Powerbeats Pro shouldn’t cannibalize those sales due to the fact the Beats-branded product is designed for working out and training sessions. Plus, Apple has been moving towards a wireless future for quite some time now, so more options is always better.
We Want To Hear From You

Depending on price, do you think you’ll pick up the Powerbeats Pro truly wireless headphones?

Apple TV Remote Not Working Fix

Tip 2. Empty battery (Discharged)

Tip 3. Obstacles blocking remote

Tip 4. Unpair and pair it again

Tip 5. The Best Choice to Fix Apple TV Issue

Tip 6. Use iPhone or iPad as a Remote for Your Apple TV
1. Common Fixes for the Issue of “Apple tv not responding to remote.”

Here is a list of common solutions that most Apple TV users tried to be useful to fix this remote issue.

Check to ensure if your Apple TV and your iOS device are connected to the same Wi-Fi network.

Restart your iOS device.

Close the app, relaunch the app and try again. If your iOS device has a Home Button, press it twice and if it does not, swipe up on the screen and pause. Go to the Apple TV remote App and swipe down. Relaunch the app.

Restart your Apple TV by navigating to Settings and then System; click on restart (if you have a responsive remote). But since the Apple TV remote app is not working, restart your Apple TV by unplugging it from the power outlet and plugging it back in after a few seconds.

You should also ensure that your iOS device has the latest version of iOS.

Turn your Apple TV on using its remote. Navigate to Settings; then click on General and then Remote. Unpair the remote and pair it again.

The problem may be with your connection. Turn off your Wi-Fi router and turn it back on.

Turn on airplane mode on your iOS device and turn it back off after a few seconds.

These steps should fix your Apple TV remote app not responding to Apple TV. If this method does not work, try out the methods below.
2. Empty battery (Discharged)

This is in fact, the first thing to check when you notice your Apple TV is not responding to the remote. The battery may have run out of power. So, what you should do is to charge the remote with a Lighting USB cable. Ensure that you charge it with a wall charger and not through a computer.

3. Obstacles blocking remote

Sometimes your Apple TV may not be responding to the remote because there is an obstacle in between the remote and the Apple TV. This obstacle may be blocking the Infrared-Ray Sensor’s line of sight. Check and clear all obstacles that may be in the way so that your Apple TV can respond to the remote.
4. Unpair and pair it again

This is one trick that can help you fix the problem of Apple TV not responding to the remote. Press the “Menu” button and “Left” button simultaneously, and hold. When a cloud-like icon displays on the screen, it means that your remote is not paired.

To pair the remote, press the “Menu” and “Right” button at the same time and hold for some time. The remote will automatically pair with the TV.

How to Use Two Line Accounts in One iPhone

Question: If I use two different Line accounts then what can I do to have both of them on one iPhone?

Line has quickly become one of the most popular instant messaging apps to the extent where some people have two accounts. The feature that attracts most users is that it can be used from a computer as well as your smartphone. Some situations of why you might use two accounts are:

Having a personal account and a business account.

Using one account for friends and another for family.

But, the problem is that you can’t sign into two Line accounts on one iPhone by default so we’re going to be showing you how to make it with ease in this article.

1. Using 2 Line Accounts on One iPhone without Jailbreaking

2. Using Two Line Accounts on One Jailbroken iPhone

3. Back Up iPhone Data including Line Data before Jailbreak

4. Restore Your Backup to iPhone with Ease
1. Using 2 Line Accounts on One iPhone without Jailbreaking

The first solution that we’ll be showing you is with Line 2. This application is simply a replica of the original Line app although is installed as a new application which allows two instances to run at once.

1. Download and install the Line app if you don’t already have it set up.

2. Open the “Safari” application and go to this website.

3. Swipe down and press “Line 2” app, then tap on the download button, and tap on “Install” to allow the third-party app to be installed.

4. Once the app is installed, open “Settings > General > Profile” and from here, enable the “Trust VNE Software” setting.

5. Lastly open the Line 2 application, sign in with your second account, and you’re ready to go!

This is the most effective way to have two Line accounts in one iPhone and the best part is you don’t have to sign out of one account to sign into the other - they can work simultaneously.
2. Using Two Line Accounts on One Jailbroken iPhone

Alternatively, you can jailbreak your iPhone. Jailbreaking an iOS device provides users with more freedom over the iOS system and makes it possible to have two Line accounts on one iPhone. If you’ve already jailbroken your iPhone, then follow the guide below.

1. Open the Cydia application and go to “Cydia > Manage > Sources”.

2. Tap on “Edit” followed by “Add”, and enter this repo.

3. Once the repo is added and has loaded, search for “Slices”. Install Slices and follow the instructions that are shown on your iPhone.

4. After the app has been installed, respring using Springboard and locate Slices in the “Settings” app.

5. Simply select the Line app, enter your account information, press the home button, and open the default Line app. Both accounts will be shown - simply tap on the one that you want to use.

Unfortunately, you’ll have to jailbreak your iPhone before using this method. Nonetheless, it’ll get the job done for anyone with a jailbroken device.
3. Back Up iPhone Data including Line Data before Jailbreak

It’s a good idea to take a backup of your Line data in case there are any issues. We suggest that you back up your data prior to following either of the methods that we explained above.

Back up your iPhone data selectively without overwriting your other backups.

Restore any backups to your iPhone selectively without overwriting the existing data.

Export data from iTunes or iCloud backups.

Extract files from any of your iOS devices.

How to Erase Music from iPhone via iPhone Settings

How to Erase Music from iPhone via iPhone Settings

Following are some methods to learn how to erase music from iPhone:
1 How to Erase a Single Song from iPhone

You can erase any song stored in your iPhone’s storage by using the Settings app of your device. Follow these instructions:

Step 1: Launch Settings app on your iPhone.

Step 2: Navigate to General > Storage & iCloud Usage.

Step 3: Locate Manage Storage option. It will be under Storage section.

Step 4: Now tap on Music and then select what you wish to delete. To delete a single song, you will have to tap on Artist’s name and then their Albums page. There you will find the list of songs.

Step 5: Once you find the song you wish to delete, tap Edit and select Delete. The selected song will be erased from your Music app and your iPhone immediately.

2 How to Erase an Album from iPhone

The process to delete an album is pretty much the same as deleting a single song from your iPhone via Settings app. Follow these instructions:

Step 1: Launch Settings app on your iPhone and navigate to General > Storage & iCloud Usage.

Step 2: Find and select Manage Storage. A list of apps will show up after you select it.

Step 3: Now tap Music and then instead of selecting All Songs, select the Album you wish to erase.

Step 4: After selecting the specific Album, tap Edit and choose Delete.

3 How to Erase All the Music from iPhone

You don’t have to go through album by album if you simply want to delete all your music. You can erase it all at once from the Settings app. Follow these instructions:

Step 1: Launch your iPhone’s Settings app and navigate to General > Storage & iCloud Usage.

Step 2: Find and select Manage Storage option and then select Music app from the provided list.

Step 3: Now tap Edit option available at the top right corner, select All Songs and then tap the Delete button.

How to Erase Music from iPhone Via iTunes

If you don’t mind plugging your iPhone into your computer to delete your iPhone music, then using iTunes to do this is a tried and tested method. Follow these instructions:

Step 1: Launch iTunes and connect your iDevice to your computer.

Step 2: From iTunes, select the iPhone icon located at the top left and then click Music option available under Settings.

Step 3: As default, the Sync Music option as well as other options including selected playlists, albums, artists, genres, etc. will be ticked.

Step 4: You just have to make sure that no songs or other items are ticked. It should say ‘0 songs’ next to Sync Music option.

Step 5: Now click the Apply button. That’s it! All your iPhone music will now be deleted.

How to Erase Music from iPhone Via iPhone Music Manager

Another way to delete your iPhone music easily is by using a good third-party iPhone music manager. iMyFone TunesMate is one of the best iPhone music managers that lets you effectively manage all your music on your computer. 4 Liquid Gets Into Headphone Jack

If mistakenly you spilled liquid on your iPhone and liquid traveled inside your iPhone's 3.5mm headphone jack, it can cause that your iPhone thinks headphones are plugged in. For this problem, instant uses a hair dryer to dry out your phone. Turn your phone switched off and then restart it. This is the best solution to get your iPhone out of headphone mode in this case, and if you are lucky enough that the liquid was not too much and it dried, it will work out for you.

5 Physically Damaged

If your iPhone still thinks headphones are plugged in after you try the above tips, the possible reason could be a defective 3.5mm headphone jack due to physical damage on iPhone. Usually, this is a rare problem, but it happens with over-use or damage caused by incorrect headphones being used or using generic headphones that are built to poor tolerances. In this scenario, you need to go to Apple people, and if your device is covered under warranty, it is free, and if not, you need to pay to get the issue resolved.

Hopefully, among all of these methods, there is a method that can help you to get your iPhone out of headphone mode. But if nothing helps, Go to Apple store and get the repair or replacement but before contacting Apple for assistance, do try these methods as they are very helpful and easy to apply.

Tip Back Up Your iOS Device Before Repairing
